RedX Research is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that you have a secure experience on our website whilst using our products and services (collectively, “Products“).

In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means any information that can be used to individually identify a person and may include, but is not limited to, name, email address, postal or other physical addresses, title, and other personally identifiable information. By using our services and/or products, you consent to the policy detailed herein.

We will be the only processor of the Personal Data that is provided, collected and/or processed in relation to this policy. RedX takes privacy seriously, and we do not tolerate or espouse any kind of breach of the conditions of this policy.

Purview of this Policy.

This policy shall apply to all information we collect through the Company Systems and/or in the course of your use of the services/products at Amplifi Education's subsidiary, RedX Research.

This policy does not apply to, nor does Amplifi Education take any responsibility for any information that is collected by any third party either using Company Systems or through any links on the Company Systems or through any of the advertisements or through any other means not within the remits of our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to online platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Instagram in which students can engage in correspondence with our staff, partners or any person associated with our organisation outside the capacity of being a student.

We will only collect information which you share with us. You can choose what information you share with us. We will collect your information only if you choose to share it through our Company Systems. During and upon registration, we may collect the following information about you or related to your use of the Company’s Systems:

Any personal or PII that you may submit or may be required to submit for registration and continued use of the Company Systems and to receive our services

Your name, title, gender, date of birth, email address, telephone number (Home/work/mobile telephonic number), profile/display picture, login name, screen name, nickname, or handle, country/state/postcode or city of residence, postal or other physical address, name(s) of the school/university (including grades and graduation year), name(s) of the workplace, job position/designation, resume/CV, information related to social profiles, such as Facebook, Google, GitHub etc., IP addresses and other information collected passively (as further detailed in the “Passive Collection” section below).

Any other information you may choose to further provide us, without limitation, any information to update your account and profile, if required, to fill out any forms, provide your feedback to surveys, write any articles on the Company Systems, or to use any features of Company Systems.

For example: if you sign up or login to our Company Systems via a third-party like Google, we may receive your registration information, updated information and combine that with information we collect through our Company Systems or add it to your account information on our Company Systems.

If you are governed by the United States laws, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, we may obtain reports from public records of credit history checks, criminal databases checks including National Criminal Database and county courts in each state, national government restricted lists, sex offender registrations. If you are outside of the United States, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, we may obtain reports of your criminal background or conduct sex offender checks. To obtain such reports as stated herein, we may use your information, like your full name and date of birth to conduct these checks.

RedX operates in accordance with the GDPR. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is designed to give EU citizens more control over their data. It aims to use an all-encompassing privacy and security law to safeguard Personal Data. It is important to note that in exercising this right, you will be required to provide express written authorization on a case-by-case basis for the utilization or disclosure of your Personal Data, should such actions be necessary to fulfill contractual obligations outlined in an agreement between yourself and RedX.
Retention:
We delete all your data, including personal data within 50 working days of your completing the course. Exceptions will be made for students who wish to publish their research papers through our partners and affiliates. In that case, your data may be retained until the fulfillment of contractual obligations linked to paper publication.

Passive Data collection:
Amplifi Education automatically collects some data about you when you are using any of our products, using avenues like cookies and other tracking technologies. Information automatically collected includes cookies, page views, geolocation data, IP(internet protocol) addresses, browser and OS(Operating System) type, ISP (Internet Service Provider), files viewed and downloaded from our websites, referral and exit pages and click stream data. Such data does not have an expiry date and we do not delete this data. This data is stored in the form of logs or in third party tracking and analytics softwares like Google analytics.

Only a highly selective subset of the employees at RedX have the prerogative to process your personal data. Our databases and information are stored on secure servers with appropriate firewalls.

As a patron of the Company Systems, you bear the onus of upholding data integrity. It is imperative that you refrain from divulging authentication parameters, including your Username (email) and password required for accessing our services, to any third party. You expressly acknowledge and agree that any breach of privacy, whether attributable to your actions or those undertaken under the auspices of your username, shall render you solely accountable, provided your account remains uncompromised as per the determination of our Company Systems.

Our Liability.
We persevere to exhaust all reasonable avenues to ensure that any information collected from you or are generated by your use of our Company Systems is safe and secure, however, we are unable to guarantee that our security measures are infallible, adequate, safe, fool proof or impenetrable to cyberattacks or acts to that effect that compromise the privacy of our users.
